2 PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS
Cursor Engineering processes your personal data because you use our equipment, use our software (apps) and/or because you provide this information to us of your own accord.
Cursor Engineering does not request explicit permission, but obtains the necessary particulars, provided spontaneously by you to us, to be able to carry out the goals mentioned in §3.1.

Below you will find an overview of necessary personal data that we process, insofar as these are provided to us with which actual consent is granted, e.g. by email:

- e-mail address(es)
- purchased equipment with serial number and date of purchase
- maintenance work on equipment with date of execution

Below you will find an overview of personal data that we can find out from information provided by you, for example from: first name, letterhead and payments.

3 PURPOSES AND LEGAL GROUNDS
3.1 Purpose
Below you will find an overview of personal data that we process, insofar as it is provided by you to us, e.g. by email:
Cursor Engineering processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- drafting and providing product information
- create and send quotes
- being able to deliver our products
- drawing up and sending invoices
- checking payments
- being able to maintain contacts
- organizing warranty, repair and service
3.2 Commitment
The information provided under §2.1 is necessary to perform our services; if this information is not provided, the goals as described in §3.1 cannot be achieved.
4 RIGHTS OF THE STAKEHOLDER
4.1 General
The person concerned is given the right, upon request by e-mail to process the data handled by Cursor Engineering, to:
- look into
- complete or rectify
- limit as much as possible
- delete
4.2 Verification
Given that the processed data is very limited (general), we consider a verifiable and known e-mail address as sufficient to assert the rights.
5 OTHER ACTS
5.1 Automated decision making
Cursor Engineering does not make decisions based on automatically processed data: not on its website and not in its software c.q. applications (apps).
5.2 Third parties
Cursor Engineering does not provide or share data to/with third parties, other than with regard to the legal obligation to e.g. bookkeeping, or unexpected recovery measures (collection).
Cursor Engineering does not make decisions about the person involved by using third parties, other than institutions such as the Chamber of Commerce, collection agencies, etc.
5.3 Retention
Cursor Engineering stores the data indefinitely. The very limited data will be deleted as soon as the person concerned requests us to no longer be the person concerned and no longer wish to receive all of our services, warranties, repairs, updates, etc. After electronic removal, due to the mandatory storage time with regard to, e.g. taxes, a period of at least seven years must be observed before physical (permanent) removal can take place.
5.4 Security
Cursor Engineering uses a secure website (https: // with a lock or other indicator). Personal data is only stored locally on own servers.
If you suspect that your data has been found by third parties via Cursor Engineering, please inform us.
5.5 Technologies
Cursor Engineering does not use so-called Cookies, other than those Cookies that are essential to make the website accessible and visible, the so-called functional Cookies. Cursor Engineering does not place Cookies on your system that can track or analyze your visit in any way.
We therefore do not have a request on our site to accept Cookies.
The available software for our products functions completely independently and therefore do not interact with any website or the internet in general, other than where the relevant software is downloaded and only then.
